Tensioner sprockets are mounted on leaktight ball-bearing units, lubricated for life. The tensioner ensures constant tension is applied to the chain: it automatically takes up any slack and gives greater startup flexibility. In addition, it helps to compensate for alignment and concentricity faults. It takes up little space, is easy to fit and unquestionably reduces noise and vibration.
