The plastic tensioning element has an inserted reinforced steel core. It is widely used in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries due to its ANTI-CORROSION treatment. Its dimensional specifications and permissible stress are identical to those of cast-iron or steel tensioning elements. It is therefore interchangeable with all existing types of tensioning elements on European and world markets. In addition, it can be adapted to all the usual components (lugs, tensioner sprockets and pulleys), as well as stainless steel or plastic tensioner sprockets, leaktight stainless steel and polyamide pulleys.
